Live painting event in Frankfurt

My art agency Scarlett Entertainment contacted me for a booking. One of their client firms was looking for a live painter to perform at an anniversary gala in Frankfurt. They wanted a depiction of Frankfurt's skyline to be performed live at the event.

I first created a few sketches following the client's ideas until we arrived to an idea that was satisfactory to both parties.

The date was set and I was flown to Frankfurt. The canvas (120cm x 100cm) and the easel were shipped to the event location and I brought the paint (Daler Rowney acrylics) and the brushes with me.

As the bespoken time of creation was to be four hours, acrylic was the right choice of paint as it dried fast enough to have many layer applied on the canvas and have the painting finished by 21:00.
